Nautilus P-2: Field Trial with business operators (spring 05)

• Goals:

  • Validation under real situation
  • Convince business partners from results obtained during Phase-1

• How:

  • Deploy the protocol suite defined in phase 1:
    • IPv6 Implementation on other OS, devices, and access medium
    • Design on-the-edge applications to demonstrate the plateforme
  • Develop IPv6 equipments and applications running on various OSs
  • Continue investigation on new elements:
    • Ad-hoc networking, Micro-mobility
    • Performance: QoS
